Getting Started
To start “Guide To Greater Understanding” you will need to craft an Ectoplasm-Infused Vision Crystal in the Mystic Forge
This will start the achievement and you will be able to continue on
A Shade's Blindspot
Hint: First, in Fields of Ruin: Go where the mightiest of the walled city rest.
Start at Kestrel Waypoint [&BD0EAAA=] and go south, towards Defender's Field PoI and , talk to Xeniph
Memory Lane
Hint: Then, in Fields of Ruin: At the top of an abandoned mine, discover precarious pillars of steel.
Start at the Helliot Mine Waypoint [&BEsBAAA=] and go north along the trail. Watch for an opening on your left side, this will take you into the Branded Mine jumping puzzle. Speak to Xeniph, found on a pillar in the middle of the puzzle
Blame Game
Hint: Then, in Fields of Ruin: Seek out shattered storms, a twisting tree, and roots deep in stone.
Start at the Thunderbreak Waypoint [&BD4EAAA=] and go east - there will be a large rock with a single tree. Speak to Xeniph here
A Balanced View
Hint: Then, in Fields of Ruin: A waterfall streams forth with a stone ceiling overhead.
Start at Fangfury Watch Waypoint [&BEwBAAA=] and head southeast, towards Highden Caves - once you enter the cave head left, towards a small waterfall and stream. Talk to Xeniph who will be at the base of the waterfall
Ghost Growth
Hint: Then, in Fields of Ruin: Find the southernmost point, where one is closest to the sands beyond.
Start at Ogre Road Waypoint [&BE8BAAA=] and go south - go into the ogre camp to the south, keep heading in this direction until you see Xeniph.
Imbued Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade
Hint: Finally, in Fields of Ruin: Embue an Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade to become something more—a blade of a different age, forged by one long passed.
Return to the Graveyard in the Fields of Ruin with an Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade in your character's inventory. Start at the Kestrel Waypoint [&BD0EAAA=] and talk to Xeniph
The Oiled Orichalcum Greatsword Blade can be crafted by Weaponsmith - or you can just buy one off the Trading Post
